After years of exploring different skills and paths, I found myself drawn back to sewing as a way to find purpose and happiness.
With a sewing machine and a vision, I started building a business that would bring my passion to life. Our mission, “Sewn together with love,” reflects our commitment to giving each client exceptional service and care. As the sole proprietor of Stitchcraft Tailoring & Quilting, Darren Cox brings a unique blend of skills and experience to the industry. With 15+ years of service in various fields, Darren is a dedicated professional who cares deeply about his work and his clients.
Darren’s backround is rooted in service and compassion. He holds an honor certificate as a Medical Office Administrative person and has also earned a Financial Advisor Certification. His decorated career in security and private protection services spanned 7 years, during which he was honored with the Unsung Hero for Service award for saving lives during a volatile situation. This experience not only shaped his perspective but also fueled his desire to rebuild a more peaceful life.
Darren’s approach to business is centered around excellence and compassion. He strives to excel in every aspect of his work, and his dedication to his clients is evident in every stitch and detail. With his service dog by his side, Darren navigates the challenges of PTSD while continuing to provide exceptional service to his clients.
Beth Hayman
Beth Hayman is a dedicated and compassionate individual who has spent her career providing exceptional care to those in need. As a Continuing Care Assistant with over 20 years of experience, Beth has developed a unique approach to supporting individuals with complex needs, particularly in Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
Beth’s passion for care is driven by her desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. She’s currently pursuing her dream of becoming a practical nurse, demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning and growth. Beth’s experience has taught her that continuing care is not just a job, but a calling that requires a special kind of person.
As a consultant to our company, Beth brings her expertise and experience to the table, focusing on adaptive accessibility and client care. She understands that every individual is unique and deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion.
Beth and Darren’s relationship is built on a foundation of love, trust, and mutual support. At just 19 years old, Rachelle Bennett brings a rare blend of poise, precision, and personality to her role as Creative Design Director and Industrial Sewer at Stitchcraft Tailoring & Quilting. With early experience working alongside the top 2% of clientele—those who seemingly have it all—Rachelle understands the power of leaving a lasting impression through both craftsmanship and connection.
Her magnetic charm and radiant smile elevate every client interaction, turning first-time visits into lasting relationships. Whether she’s tailoring adaptive apparel or refining inclusive design concepts, Rachelle infuses every stitch with intention and excellence. She doesn’t settle for “good enough”—her standard is greatness, and her work reflects it.
Raised around the hospitality industry and a proud graduate of the Serveitup program, Rachelle fast-tracked her education and stepped confidently into the professional world. Her background instilled a deep respect for service, detail, and the art of making people feel seen.
